Sports Media Productions is a Hawaii-based Limited Liability Corporation, established in 2003, for the purpose of developing a software-based system and method for the automated production of personalized DVD-videos for individuals participating in marathons, triathlons, and other large time-based events.

MyMarathonDVD is the only system of its kind in the world and Sports Media Productions has submitted a formal application for utility patent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. SMP has also filed a PCT application for international patent protection.
